Welcome to Student Services,
“Finding What You Love” are words I like to live by as I work with students to develop next steps. I find it is crucial to equip our students with those critical social and decision-making skills as we prepare them to be future global leaders and contributors to society. We work with students through individual and small group settings. There is nothing more powerful than being able to make informed life choices. It is our aim to support and nurture our students in doing just that.
Student Services offers a unique yet comprehensive program to all of our students. Our approach is to educate the “Whole Student.” This consists of guidance & counseling, academic & behavioural support, student activities and community outreach opportunities. We aim to provide a welcoming, informative, and safe environment for the student, their families, and the entire community.
The Student Services Office practices a personalized approach to serving the school population.
Our firm goals include:
- Utilizing a holistic approach with students in all areas: academics, behavioral, social, personal, and career;
- Maintaining a high level of communication between staff, students, parents, and other appropriate out-of-school personnel;
- Providing fair and consistent responses and assistance in a timely manner to those we serve.
