Air Quality & Student Safety Policy

At KMIDS, the health and well-being of our students and staff are our top priorities. This policy ensures we take every precaution to provide a safe learning environment during periods of unhealthy air quality.

Our team monitors Ladkrabang air quality data 24/7 to make real-time decisions regarding outdoor activities.

How We Monitor Air Quality

The KMIDS Child Safety Team monitors AQI levels daily using three primary data points: IQAir (AirVisual), official government data, and our internal school sensors.

  • Daily Checks: AQI is verified every morning at 7:00 AM and again before afternoon break times.
  • Communications: Any shift to “Indoor Policy” is communicated immediately to the Senior Leadership Team and academic staff.
  • Health Support: The school clinic is briefed daily on air levels to provide proactive support for students with respiratory conditions.
