Take your first step towards an innovative future here at KMIDS, Thailand’s first STEAM-focused International School.
As an American curriculum international school emphasising advanced science and innovation, our course of study features a holistic education in all subjects, but particularly in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art/design, and Mathematics (STEAM). In addition, KMIDS believes in incorporating an extensive elective program to allow students the opportunity to pursue subjects to a greater degree in all disciplines in which they have a special interest.
Pathway students take part in university classes, in cooperation with and under the guidance of our parent organisation, King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL).
Pathway students are able to enrol on the first-year courses at KMITL in Medicine, Engineering, Architecture, and the forthcoming faculties which are Science and Aviation. The students can also pursue advanced study under experienced KMITL professors’ instruction and gain the boutique advantage of early university study. Preferential university admission is also offered to qualified Pathway students.
Working and growing together with our talented and international teaching professionals, students are well prepared to reach their limitless potential as they are trained to solve problems through collaboration, critical thinking, and scientific methods.
Life at KMIDS is not only about coding and laboratories, however – we are also passionate about providing our students with multiple opportunities in extracurricular activities such as competitive athletics, robotics clubs and competitions, web design, musical and art clubs and performances, martial arts, and more!
Our first proud graduating class of 2020 achieved spectacular admission results to the world’s top-tier universities in the USA, Japan and within Thailand, including King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL), Chulalongkorn University, Mahidol University, Thammasat University, the University of California, Keio University, University of Glasgow, Cal Arts University, Ringling College of Art and Design, and more.
