KMIDS Student Counseling

“KMIDS values the importance of promoting a safe and positive environment where students feel happy and confident in expressing themselves.”

At KMIDS we are passionate and committed to providing students with the appropriate support and guidance they need to develop their personal, social and academic potential.

We understand that every child is unique. Every child has different emotional and personal needs that our team is happy and qualified to assist on. At present, KMIDS has two dedicated in-house school counsellors and psychologists who offer a wide-range of support and services to help students during their time at KMIDS.

These include:

  • A dedicated ‘MIND’ room which is available for confidential individual and group discussions (3rd Floor)
  • Open drop-in sessions at any-time between 07:00 a.m. – 16:00 p.m. (2nd Floor, Room 209)
  • One-to-one counselling
  • Career and University Guidance
  • Awareness Week
  • ‘Life Skills Camp’ focusing on character growth & development
  • ‘Mindfulness Practice’ approaches

In addition to this, our team in Student Services also offer support for teachers and parents. For instance, our Parent Workshops have been designed to help inform parents of strategies and techniques that could be used, collaboratively, to further ensure the safety and welfare of their child while at KMIDS.
